How it works

Four steps, and we are with you for all of them.

  1. Tell us about your pharmacy

    What you are running now, how many branches and how many computers. Message us on WhatsApp or call. There is nothing to fill in here.

  2. Settle the licence

    We agree the version and the price with you, and arrange payment the way that suits you: cash, OMT or Whish Money.

  3. We email your package

    Your installation package and your licence arrive by email, from info@helmedsys.com. The link is yours; it is not published anywhere on this site.

  4. Install it, with us on the phone

    Run the installer as administrator and follow the prompts. If you are moving from another system, we bring your data across at no charge.

Why it is that large
Every component is bundled: the application runtime, the database engine and the Microsoft runtimes. Installation never downloads anything.

Keep the two parts together. The installer reads the Resources folder from the same location. If you move the .exe on its own, it will not have the components it needs.

Installing

Four steps.

  1. Save the package from the link we email you, and unzip it.
  2. Keep HelMed_Setup_1.0.0.exe and the Resources folder together in the same place.
  3. Right-click the installer and choose Run as administrator.
  4. Follow the prompts. Nothing is downloaded during installation.

Upgrading an existing installation

The same installer upgrades HelMed in place. Your database, your backups, your uploads and your settings are preserved. You do not reinstall from scratch and you do not re-enter your data.

Integrity

Check that you got what we published.

A SHA-256 checksum is a fingerprint of a file. Every download link we email comes with the checksum of that exact package. If the file on your computer produces the same value, it is byte for byte the file we built — not a copy someone altered along the way.

How to check it yourself

Open PowerShell in the folder where you saved the file and run:

Get-FileHash .\HelMed_Setup_1.0.0.exe -Algorithm SHA256

Compare the value it prints with the one in our email. They should match exactly, ignoring upper and lower case.

The installer also checks itself. It verifies every bundled component by SHA-256 before it installs, and refuses to run if anything is missing or altered.
